A topological field \((k,\mathcal{T},+,\cdot)\) is a topological space \((k,\mathcal{T})\) such that \((k,+,\cdot)\) is a field and \(\cdot,+:k\times k\to k\) are both continuous when \(k\times k\) is endowed with the product topology.
